The tutorials are grouped in charm packs quilts, layer cake quilts, jelly roll quilts, fat eighth quilts, fat quarter quilts, yardage quilts, and scrappy quilts. You could use fat quarters, yardage or even scraps you have available. That doesn't mean you have to have a layer cake though!

The original design uses 24 layer cake (10″ x 10″) squares. This lesson includes a free pattern and plenty of quilting shortcuts. But i also have some tips for sewing and storing these. Layer cakes include 42 layers of 10 inch squares junior cakes include 20 layers of 10 inch squares if ordering 1, 2 or 3 layer cakes, they will be folded to fit into a usps flat rate envelope.
